Has winter got you dry?

Maha Qura, expert stylist at Dante Salon and Wellness Spa shares with us some tips and home remedies on how to maintain your hair moisturized during the cold winter months!

“Try out some of these Do it Yourself home remedies to keep you moisturized! We all  get extra dry and itchy in the cold months.  To survive the winter months we have to take a little extra time on our hair and skin. These are real simple recipes and most ingredients you already have in your kitchen”.

Now Get Mixing!!!

 Olive Oil and Honey Shine Treatment

Shampoo hair and lightly condition. Then Rinse.
Mix together 1 Tbsp. of honey and 3 Tbsp. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a bowl until it makes a paste.
Place a plastic shower cap on and leave on for 15 mins. Then Rinse.
Blow dry hair and enjoy the shine!!

 Moisturizing Deep Conditioner

Add 1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to your favorite Conditioner. Mix together.
Comb through hair.
Place a plastic shower cap on and leave on for 15-20 mins.
Rinse.
Oooooh La La Beautiful Hair!!

Exfoliating Scalp Scrub for Itchy Dry Scalp

Mix together 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar,  2 Tbsp. Olive Oil and 5 drops of Tea Tree Oil or Peppermint Oil in a bowl.
Part hair and massage mixture into dry scalp areas for 5-10 mins.
Rinse.
Shampoo and Condition as normal.

Your scalp should feel soft and healthy!
