Give me RED

With fall here, trends change and the style that was popular this summer fades away. The light colored dresses, flowy soft skirts and peach colored tops give way to bold, daring and eye flashing styles that scream “look at me”. Fall is definitely the season that brings out the daring woman in you that is ready to take on the world.

The hottest hues this season are: MILITARY BLUE, MERLOT, AMETHYST, EMERALD.

Military blue is a great color for jackets, blazers, and coats. It looks great with silver accents and hardware (buttons, studs, zippers).  Merlot looks good in rich fabrics that express its vibrancy (knits, sweaters, suedes). Amethyst will sure have a deep impact, as it is a dark hue and it can be mixed with other solid colors or bold patterns. Emerald is very sophisticated and ladylike and it can be paired up with gold, soft lace and delicate textures

If you want to take the safe route, you can always go for black and nude colors, however these are monotone and take out all the fun in dressing up! If you really want to stay within this range of shades, you can always go for monochrome! We really like monochrome as we have mentioned that in many of our posts! It is very popular this fall season.

But what if instead we thought outside the box?…

While these colors are in prime time this fall and are the way to go…  some of us want to be unique and express a different style.

For example RED. This is a timeless vibrant color that is in style and looks good for any season: spring, summer, fall, and winter. It is the color of seduction and it is very daring. Depending on the season you can choose the shade of red to wear. For the hot summer days you can choose a bright red, in the fall a darker shade of red would be appropriate. This color will make you stand out and look elegant.  Red can be paired with gold jewelry and accessories: zippers, studs, and buttons can be added to red colored blazers, jackets, etc. If you want to go for a softer look you can wear red blouses made out of a lighter material and lace. It is a versatile color that can be combined with many different things to achieve many looks.

Red is powerful and strong. It shows your not afraid to stand out and it gets attention.
