I live for the rewarding moments when a client loves every look I have created for them. I am creative, innovative, and strive for perfection.

1. Wash Your Face with a good facial wash, a facial towel and lukewarm water. Washing your face will make your skin look perfectly clean. By washing your face with lukewarm water it will help to open your pores and using a towel and facial wash/soap will help get rid of dead skin, blackheads, oil and dirt. Make sure you don’t use aggressive facial wash or soap on your skin because they may cause breakouts on your skin.

2. Moisturize your Face after washing and before putting on your foundation. Don’t forget to moisturize your face. Pick a moisturizer that fits with your skin type. Especially now that winter is coming and it is getting colder and colder, it is important to keep our skin moisturized.

3. Prime your Face. Add a foundation primer. This is optional, but foundation primers allow your foundation to “stay put” in hot weather, helps prevent skin from absorbing talc and pigment from your foundation as well as preventing talc from drawing oil from the skin.

4. Choose your Foundation. If you have flawless skin (no blemishes, discoloration, uneven tone or no freckles) I recommend you use a tinted moisturizer. This is more sheer and “breathable” than the traditional foundation. It has a hint of coverage and feels light on your skin and gives you a natural look.

  • Dry Skin – choose a liquid, stick or hydrating powder foundation.
  • Oily Skin – use oil-free liquid or powder foundation.
  • Combination Skin – basically apply a powder foundation, which allows you to distribute more of the oil-absorbing makeup where you need it and less where you don’t, without leaving visible lines (as liquid or stick foundation would).

Apply the foundation. To get dewy and radiant skin, use an illuminator. Just mix a pea-sized amount of illuminator with your foundation and you will get that glowy skin look. Apply the foundation either with a brush or with your fingers. The heat of your fingers will make foundation blends really well on your skin.

5. Choose and Apply a Good Concealer. When choosing a concealer match it with your skin tone, start with half a shade lighter than your skin foundation. Pay attention to words like beige (pink undertones), cool (pink undertones), warm (yellow/olive undertones), neutral, etc. If your main concern is dark circles, lean toward the yellow/warm family. If you are using concealer for blemishes or dark spots, find the one that is a shade lighter than your foundation and in the same undertone.

  • Apply the concealer on any zits or redness on your skin. Use a concealer brush and stipple it on and dab it with your fingers to blend it in.
  • Conceal any dark circles under your eyes by applying the concealer in a triangle shape. Blend the outer corners of the triangle with your fingers. Don’t forget the inner corners of your eyes, as they are generally darker than the rest of your eyes.

6. Set your makeup with setting powder.  Choose a loose (mineral) powder and dab it on the T-Zone of your face and on both sides of your nose to your cheek with a stippling brush.

7.a Shape and color your Brows. Comb your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush and then apply eyebrow pencil or  eyebrow powder pencil/powder.

  • Blondes’ brows – are best dressed in a light brown.
  • Redheads’ brows – look hot in a honey-colored pencil/powder for day. Dark-brown for night.
  • Brunettes’ brows – smolder in deep-brown tones; black is best after dark.

7.b Apply Eye Makeup. First, apply eye primer to make your eyeshadow last long. For a natural eye makeup look choose nude matte color. If you want you can use your favorite eyeshadow colors.

  • Apply eyeliner. Liquid or pencil, top or bottom, eyeliner can be applied in many ways depending on your eye shape and eye size.
  • Curl your lashes.
  • False eyelashes. This is optional, but if you want to wear false eyelashes. So go ahead! For natural look choose the natural lashes.
  • Apply mascara. Wait for each coat to dry before applying another coat to avoid clumps.

8.  Apply Bronzer and/or Blush. Choose a bronzer that is not too dark for your skin. Use an angle blush or stippling brush to apply the bronzer. Apply it on your temple, on the upper side of your forehead, on both sides of your nose and in the hollow of your cheeks or under your cheekbones. Next, choose a blush that suits your skin tone and apply it on the apple of your cheeks.

9. Highlight your Face. Choose a highlighter that fits your skin. Apply it on your nose, Cupid’s bow, cheekbones and on your brow bone.

10. Don’t forget your Lips. Moisturize your lips with a lip balm. Use a lip primer or lip liner to fill up the creases. Then apply your favorite lipstick in the same color as your lipliner. Finish your look with a lipgloss if you would like.
